This exhibition displays a selection of works produced by Francisco Tomsich in his studio in Izola in the last two years, a period of turmoil, sometimes despair and little hope in humanity. A period populated by images of war and destruction, traversed by symbols of decay but also of resistance. A time of witnessing.

The Witness is an on-going research on a bunch of iconographical constellations addressing gaze and suffering. It comprises at least three different series of drawings, paintings and objects. It is being documented as diary entries in Francisco Tomsich’s Instagram account.
